About Us

DANIEL F. RYCHLIK, MD, FACOG


A born and bred Chicagoan, Dr. Daniel Rychlik completed his bachelor and medical degrees as well as his residency at the University of Illinois, followed by a fellowship at the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine. He is board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology, (fertility clinic santa barbara) with a focus on Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and premature ovarian failure.

Wanting to help present and future clients, Dr. Dan educated the next generation of doctors at the University of Arizona and, of course, the University of Illinois. He also served as President and Medical Director of Fertility Centers of Arizona and Clinical Director at Partners for Fertility and IVF in Virginia before moving to beautiful Santa Barbara and joining the world-renowned fertility team at Southern California Reproductive Center.



Dr. Dan has worked with the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health. He is the proud recipient of the following awards:
CREST scholar by the National Institute of Health (NIH)
Golden Apple Teacher Award from University of Chicago
Consistently Voted “Top Infertility Doctor” in various regional magazines
Research Excellence Abstract Presentation Society for work in Maternal Fetal Medicine

​Coming from a large family himself, Dr. Dan loves to help his clients achieve their dreams of building large, happy families of their own. When not helping to grow families, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa Drake (a practicing OB/GYN in Santa Barbara), and their four children, as well as riding his bike, taking photographs, and flying planes for the Civil Air Patrol.

FOUNDING CHAIRMAN OF ​MEN IN PINK

Dr. Dan has just been named the founding chairman of the Breast Cancer Resource Center’s Men in Pink. ​The Men in Pink help raise awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Santa Barbara. These funds go towards helping members of our community that are facing breast cancer by offering a wide variety of support and resources to help them thrive. ​
